Tips to Maintain Your Candle

R&R Mystery Candles uses the best quality products period! All candles need some love and care to ensure they burn clean and the product is enjoyed to its fullest potential! Here are some tips to make sure that happens!

--Trim your wick! Before each burn ensure the wick size is between 1/8th and 1/4th of an inch in length. This will ensure the candle burns clean and safely. The virgin candle burn is the most important to ensuring a great life to the candle.

--Avoid drafts. Placing you candle near heating/ac vents, or open windows will make that flame dance and will not allow the candle to burn evenly.

--Burn long, but not too long. Ensuring the top layer of the candle has fully melted avoids tunneling. Don't over burn the candle. We suggest 2-3hrs of burn and then extinguishing the candle and allow to cool.

--Never place a candle under an overhang. Candles produce a lot of heat above them and around. Always take precautions on placement of your candle. Never leave a candle unattended!
